Digital Dentistry for GC Corporation
Customer’s challenge
When GC Corporation decided to upgrade its digital solutions for its implant systems, they looked for a business partner with great insight and know-how in the digital dentistry area. Being a world leader in high quality products for dentistry they were looking for a proper match and turned to Elos Medtech to help bring scan bodies and digital model analogs to the market.
Our contribution
In short time Elos Medtech was able to develop a line of scan bodies and Analogs for Printed Models based on the successful Elos Accurate portfolio.
Making a difference
- Using original specifications for implant interfaces a perfect fit was secured.
- To tie everything together (scan bodies, model analogs and existing Ti-bases and blanks) a set of implant libraries were created for the most important design software.
- Everything was developed and launched domestically in Japan and later globally at IDS 2019.
- Our RA and R&D department worked closely with GC Corporation in both Japan and Europe to secure proper registrations incl. IFU and labelling for GC Corporations selected markets.
